I just don't get this! Somebody please help me understand… all of these people crying about the big bad bank (or mortgage lender) somehow blaming them or the government for your "personal loss". No one forced you to buy that home; no one forced you to take out the mortgage!
If the lender had refused to make the loan I guarantee 100% of these upside down homeowners would have cried foul, threatened to sue claiming prejudice etc. "they won't give me a loan"!
Now consider the reverse scenario, you purchase a home for $200,000 with 20% down and a first mortgage for $160,000…
One year later the home is worth $300,000, the lender comes back and says, "We need to increase your loan to $240,000 (your house increased in value $100,000 – increase your loan or we will foreclose). No one would stand for that!
So here's the question, if the lender can't profit from the appreciation, why does the lender lose from the depreciation? You cannot have one without the other. This strategy of a "strategic default" undermines the security of our entire financial system.
Furthermore it ABSOLUTELY DESTROYS any lender's ability to make a fair and impartial loan decision. I do have sympathy for homeowners who are upside down in their mortgage, BUT if they have the ability to pay, if their situation is the same – they should absolutely not default and walk away. That's keeping up with the Joneses in reverse.
I think ads for sales jobs with Groupon/Grabone clones should come with a health warning: "Short term. No future"

Another thought is that you may try one of the anti-seizure diets which have helped those with intractable epilepsy. (Factoid, 30% of people with epilepsy do NOT respond to medication!)

Next, try keeping a daily seizure diary, noting your sleep patterns, what you eat and when, daily activities (including emotional upsets), how you feel before a seizure (auras? triggers?), during a seizure, afterwards and the duration of the seizure. This might help you identify your triggers and give you a better idea of what's going on with your body.
