any help please i need a loan of 20,000 asap and would like info on who to go with that could arrange one in two weeks,i live in the uk all my life in full time employment for the last ten years with good credit history,my bank will take 4weeks,any help or ideas please thank you,

If you not a homeowner it will be a bit difficult. You can get money from any major bank : Barclay's will put money in 15 minutes but not for 20000. Max it will be 10000 (unsecured loan. don't take an insurance: it doesn't do anything). Next one is Lloyd's TSB. They are really good. They can do 10000 max is well.(unsecured loan).Don't go Nat West: they are horrible! Trust me! Take an appointment with a manager and take a quote. Don't rush in to it. You have time.
I would check out prosper.com. It's like the ebay of loans. You put out a request to borrow money and people group together to lend it to you at a certain interest rate dependent upon your credit rating and debt to income ratio. It's worth a shot. Good Luck !

i love your site for updates, thanks for this. but the way youre so bitter and judgmental sometimes takes away from your legitimacy for me…it's sad how undergrads don't realize that in fighting for their own rights, TAs are in turn, fighting for a better education for UNDERGRADS. it's not fair to attack the TAs unless you are in their shoes. you are not the one struggling to support a family and pay rent and study full time AND teach full time. teaching takes a lot more than 10 hours per week..it's a full time job.
