However, if you are serious about credit repair, you will really need to obtain copies of all three credit reports. Creditors are not required to report to any of the agencies, and often they will just report to one. Having all three credit reports on hand will help you make repair to your credit more effectively and more thoroughly.
Additional tips to improve your credit rating: Lending companies look at your credit score as a way to consider your credit worthiness. Make all of your liabilities on time and your credit rating will rise. You will most likely have problems in getting new credit if your credit score is too low.
Lenders also look at your income, your debt status, the amount of credit you have available to you, and the manner in which you do your monthly payments. By paying in a timely manner, you will keep you credit score at an average or above average level- a stable rating. If you have had credit problems, you may want to make an extra effort to repair your credit and elevate your credit score.
Your future and your financial stability and capacity greatly depend to a large extent on your credit report and your credit rating. Get a copy of your credit report each year to make it sure that the information is accurate and that all your accounts are listed correctly. I have yet to see any revelant factual evidence/studies that compare credit scores v. driving record!! This has been made up from the get go. Example.. If one files for divorce most often your redit score is going to suffer. Shoud that make you a high risk driver? This false line of credit crap was the brain child of the large Ohio insurance company whos founder was on 60 minutes braging about his pot smoking days and drug ways. Yet we take this insurance company's top dog as the industry leader in setting factual standards. Wake up people and accept nothing until the facts produce factual results!

All these things are false. They have no real meaning, they don't improve relationships between humans.
There's an obnoxious commercial I saw last night for the Discover card, where the voice-over says "we're consumers… and there's nothing wrong with that" as if to convince people that always wanting new trinkets is the right way to be, the best way to be. It's sickening.
