4 Tips About Major Players In Debt Settlement Help

23

Debt settlement help and its major providers are plenteous in number. Better decision making occurs when people can distinguish between a settlement expert and a creditor, a negotiator and an educator. This article helps people make wiser financial decisions by helping them distinguish between the groups.

The major players in personal and business debt management fall into groups. This first group is owed money. People sometimes refer to the first group as the creditor, lender, sponsor, or seller. The name written on a check or money order for payment is the name of a member of this group. Credit card companies, landlords, and the finance company which loaned the money to buy a vehicle fall into group one. But, a bank is almost always the (original) lender. Yes. Virtually all of the money in any developed economy, ultimately and eventually ends up in a bank. So, the most outstanding player of this first group is a bank.

Another major player group puts itself between the bank and the borrower and negotiates a settlement for the bank. If it can create a winning situation for the bank and borrower then its job is done. The total amount the payer has to pay back is reduced and the bank recoups most of its loaned out money. The borrower does not have to waste time and effort because negotiators have concocted many solutions from which the debtor can choose. It is easy to tell who is a member here. This is the group that calls and writes demanding money. But it is also the group that uses words like negotiated settlement, do not file for bankruptcy, reduce or eliminate late fees, one low payment, consolidate loans and so forth. This group is responsible for the bulk of advertising on television, radio and the internet.

The next group of important players collects taxes and is part of government. Courts, and the people who work there, such as attorneys, are part of government. When cases come before a court dealing with delinquent loans then court fees must be paid. The irony is when borrowers want to go before a judge to declare bankruptcy the borrower must pay money in court for the opportunity to prove that the borrower has no money.

This next group just provides information. The information it provides is helpful and very general in nature. Most financial experts agree upon these basic principles, facts and definitions. The members making up this group do not work for the payer or the lender. They know that truly impartial information must come from a neutral source like a publicly funded school, encyclopedia or dictionary. The giver of the paycheck determines to a large degree to who employees offer their loyalty. Impartial information is free from bias and does not try to influence or favor the payer or lender.

Debt settlement help and its major providers provide options for honest repayment of debt. Many available options seem confusing because of the sheer number of opinions. Their advice becomes clearer once it is known who are the members in the financial groups vying for public attention.

Hey Toots:

I bet you really had your granny panties in a twist over Dubya's spending a trillion dollar surplus in two short years, and then proceeded to put the budget at record-breaking deficits, right? Sorry, lady but YOU'RE insane. And you prove it with each and every post.

We need to stop pouring money into two futile wars; we need to cut the DOD budget STAT; we need to collect tax revenue from those in Corporate America who seem fit to pass their tax debt onto everyone else; we need to stop giving tax breaks to those who do not need it … big oil comes to mind pretty damned quickly …

I doubt anything will change before April. That's the date that keeps coming up as a goal.

There's a paradox here. The more public attention the case receives, the less likely the Thais would be to lend a sympathetic ear to western officials lobbying on behalf of Harry Nicolaides. But the less public attention the case receives, the less likely western officials would be to lobby on behalf of Harry Nicolaides.

Response: The Negro Digs Up His Past

Arthur A. Schomburg calls for a restoration of the Negro’s past. He seems to be putting forth the argument that Negroes were unable to gain access to the varying realities of their conditions based on two facts or rather interference. One is that the rhetoric in the past was based on further discriminations (231). And two, “Negroes of attainment and genius have been unfairly disassociated from the group, and group credit lost accordingly” (232). What allows for a type of restoration is that, “history has become less a matter of argument and more a matter of record” (231). The black community can in fact become collaborators of their own fate based on a proper study of the outstanding role that Negroes play in the past. What has not been properly reported and this study of records reveal is the influences that the Negro has have on determining his own fate, as well as his contribution to the world at large in all disciples.

What I find interesting about this new data discovered and displayed at the Public Library at Harlem exhibition is that despite this record of our accomplishments, today in the year 2009, I still come across Black intellectuals who argue for a separation from the black community in the same rhetoric, “lets just focus on the brighter blacks and help them and leave the community of ignorance to themselves.” I recently heard this from a black professor at BC. Upon hearing this, it broke my heart to hear such ignorance being expressed from someone who is representing the educated class. It makes you wonder if education should not be redefined and explored through these lenses.

Response: The Legacy of the ancestral arts
Alain Locke’s core argument is that African Americans should preserve Native African Art, the plastic art through study and use as a way of augmenting their own perspectives in the world of art. In other words, plastic art takes on an influencing re-expression in all art forms. African plastic art he argues is the highest quality art there is based on among other things as well, but the 3 dimensional aspects lens to the art’s inner life.

In response to this, I wonder if Lessing in his essay, Laocoon: An Essay on the Limits of Painting and Poetry would have a different reading of the boundaries of plastic arts if he had Native African art as a subject and review. In his argument plastic art is limited in its expression based on the fact that it is extended in space. To illustrate his point Lessing argues that literature and the plastic arts, such as paintings are governed by different laws. Paintings and sculptors’ unity are expressed only in spatial forms and are placed side by side in relation to each other to express a subject; while literature is limited to the succession of words in time in a narrative sequence that cannot be unified, like plastic art in the instant of time. This is to say that the unity of literature, unlike paintings, is limited in its construction to an uninterrupted and logical succession of order. Lessing, a century earlier did not have for examples 19th century literature that constructs narrative not based on consecutive arrangement but reflexive reference. And similarity is African sculptures not restricted to spatial expressions juxtaposed side by side as we see Locke observing, “They have indeed complete plastic freedom, that is to say, these African artists really can see form in three dimensions. Now this is rare in sculpture” (260).

"It is simply the way human decision-making works, and is not unique to science or any other human endeavor."

Yes, but if we decide that the process results in undesirable outcomes, we can tweak the methods to try to mitigates the cognitive delusions that bias and undermine decision making. That's why the behavioral parameters of decision making are so important. It's through understanding these that we hope to improve decision making during grant awards, admissions decisions, disasters (of any sort), in house buying and bubbles, loan making, politics, and economics, too. That's why it's worth studying.

In addition, science is one of those things where peopel often think their immune to the parameters of human decision making (because, after all, we're really vulcans at heart).

Engineer, San Diego, CA @ 11:45 am #

I am an engineer who would like to buy a new car. My previous car was a VW passat and i think i can use this for another 5 years. However i would like to buy a jaguar or a Land Rover vehicle if they fall into the falling categories,

1. cost price 40 miles or should be a gas/electric hybrid on the same lines as the efficient japanese hybrid cars.
3. should have a compact/strong european footprint.

How about taking any of the jaguar or a Land Rover models, shrinking them by about 25%, making them more aerodynamic and adding a gas/electric hybrid engine.

Its time to make jaguar and land rover models affordable and gas efficient for the common man and then the tatas could pull a rabbit out of his hat with this deal.

(The bills) take on such thorny and complex issues as regulating derivatives, creating an agency to protect consumers, and deciding the tools government can use to dismantle a failing banking behemoth without damaging the financial landscape. Some of the proceedings will be televised, but much of the negotiating will be done behind closed doors; lobbying from financial groups has been intense.

This is, of course, a crucially important topic, but, unfortunately, I think I see where this is heading.]]>
