Can you REALLY trust a Credit Repair Company?

41

As a well known mortgage and credit expert I am regularly asked if credit repair really works. Credit repair can be extremely effective if performed the right way.

Be careful which credit company you choose because many credit repair shops collect money from consumers for credit services, but the credit services they perform are minimal being nothing more than mailing simple dispute letters.

Some companies perform only a few basic disputes, for example it might be disputed that the consumer was never late on an account. The hope and intent is that the creditor will not reply to the dispute and the item will be deleted off the credit report. These types of disputes depend on human error to be effective.

Over the last few years the credit bureaus have gotten smart to these credit repair methods. To counter them the bureaus now use complicated computer systems named E-Oscar and OCR.

The credit bureaus E-Oscar and OCR computers sniff out letters which appear to come from credit companies and then automatically respond to those disputes calling them frivolous. The credit bureaus E-Oscar computer then electronically processes the dispute nearly eliminating human error.

The credit bureaus E-Oscar computer now renders these older types of disputes minimally effective. Some negative items will get removed to only be put back on the report a little later. Typically the only accounts that will be permanently removed are old accounts which have no real effect on the credit score anyway.

BUT, all is not lost

Credit repair can be extremely effective, but it also is very time consuming. Accounts need to be disputed in a legal manner and the most effective disputes are done direct to the creditor requiring even more knowledge to be able to handle on your own.

There are hundreds of consumer protection laws designed to protect consumers such as FACTA, The Fair Credit Billing Act, The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, HIPPA, , and many more which can be used to get your negative credit items deleted.

Many creditors completely ignore and violate multiple state and Federal laws with the hopes that you do not possess the knowledge or time to be able to challenge them.

Most people do not possess the legal knowledge to defend themselves. You would have to spend endless time learning all of the hundreds of consumer protection laws to know enough to challenge your creditors successfully on your own.

Using Federal and state law violations as leverage to force creditors to delete negative credit items is a VERY effective tactic to use to fix your credit. Credit companies who do this and participate in direct creditor disputing typically see deletion rates higher than 70%.

The drawback is in order to effectively dispute and delete your negative accounts, you will spend countless hours learning how to dispute and delete your negative credit items. Or you can find a highly recommended professional company to do it for you instead. But make sure you find a reputable company.

There are only a few 100% legal credit companies in the U.S. One of the most well known companies who produce the strongest and fastest results is Elite Credit Inc out of the Tampa Florida area (www.perfectcreditfast.com.) I have personally seen their dispute methods and results, and even I am impressed. You will not find faster or stronger results at such a low price anywhere else that I have seen.

Or you can visit credit forums and start learning how to try to fix your credit your own. Whatever you do, do not decide to do NOTHING. Credit problems are estimated to cost an individual consumer over $1,000,000 over a 30 year time period.

Strong dispute methods could remove over 71% of your negative items, and this could be the difference between you just struggling living paycheck to paycheck or living your fantasy life.

Get started now with fixing your own credit, or hire a professional to do it for you. Whichever you chose, stop delaying and get started today on rebuilding your credit profile and your financial security.

You can't stop CEOs in the bloodsucking world of finance. It seems no matter what is tried they always manage to find loopholes.

But consider this – If my simple math is correct 1 billion dollars is equal to 1 million million dollars.

If that is correce, sonsider that there about what? 300 million Americans?

I the government wants to help ALL americans and not just those who have already sucked billions from the middle to low income citizens they should give every adult american 1 million tax free dollars. Total cost about 300 billion as opposed trillion plus now being discussed.

That would stimulate the hell out of the economy. People would buy homes, cars, electronics, invest, etc., etc., etc.

The bloodsuckers would be crippled, temporarily, as there would be no need for people to obtain credie for a short period of time. However, I think they would pay off their current debt. The need for credit would return in a couple of years and, hopefully, the financial industry would return some sanity to their lending practices. The twenty and 30 percent rates they currently charge those least able to afford it should be forever eleminated from their lending procedures.

This is a tough one,-it seems two me,that a big enough portion of society is hypnotised as the US population was before world war one and WWll ;to march completely to the step of their loving leaders. You have to give the elite credit, they sure do know how to do PR,public relations. It will be interesting to see how the cyberspace battles play out. So far, these guys would make Walter Lippmann and Edward Benays ,the Godfathers of social engineering and P.R.,PROUD ,-with capital letters. You can't denign it' s an infowar for our minds(just like Alex Jones states)-and then they come for our souls.Gee,I think I'll name my next son Ethan,so he can follow the footsteps of the hero "ethanol'.And may he grow up to be part of the mighty "ethanol" folklore.

I will look up that Richard Sennett book, it sounds like the sort of thing I might be interested in. I'd also like to emphasise how much I completely agree with you that the big problem is in 'unresolved structural inequalities in our society'. Can we nail this a bit further and call that problem capitalism? ;-)

I haven't read the LSE report or the Home Office response so I suppose I ought not comment further on that. (We can't read everything, sadly.) My feeling, though, is that based on past experience of large government projects of this sort, involving complicated computer systems for example, is that they usually run over budget by a long way, and I'd be surprised if ID cards was different.

Spending less on counter-terrorism is sensible, because from the point of view of risk and cost, it's not money well spent. Soundbite: the number of deaths due to terrorism in all the years after 9/11 is (as an annual rate) less than the number of people who drown in their bathtubs in the US (about 300-400/year apparently). So unless you're willing to fantasise about movie-plot terrorism involving nuclear bombs and the like, spending less on counter-terrorism would be a good idea. It may not be electorally possible, but I'm not entirely convinced of that. I think that a brave government could challenge the hypochondria of terrorism, for example by making the case that it's wasting taxpayer's money. You'd obviously have to be careful about how you worded it, but I feel it could be done.

By your definition, it appears it wouldn't be left-wing to attempt to bring attention to any issue that people aren't already aware of. On the contrary, I think that's it decidedly the right thing for people on the left to bring attention to things that are important but that people don't know about or understand. It wouldn't be left-wing to impose that on people, but this is far from what campaign groups do.

You're probably right that many of the no2id people don't criticise companies as much as the government, and that this reflects a bias. (I did say that I thought a lot of them are Tories.) Not all of them think like this though, and I for one certainly don't. If you read the entry I linked to in my previous post you'll see that the 'Surveillance Society' is if anything more to do with the behaviour of large companies than the government. I would add that with a government that – through PFI schemes for example – is ever more tightly linked with these large companies, giving more power to the state is even more risky. Much of the criticism of the surveillance society from the left highlights the fact that government policy is set to an unwarranted degree by the 'security industry' which has an interest in peddling expensive and ineffective solutions.

On tax, I'll defer to you until I've had a chance to think it through. (Which might be some time as it's not a simple issue.) On CCTV, a Home Office report in 2002 suggests that it isn't very effective. On nuclear programmes – I was talking about Trident, and I tend to agree with you on nuclear power. At least, nobody has yet made a good enough case to me that the benefits of nuclear power in terms of carbon emissions are outweighed by the costs and dangers.

Improve Your Credit Score

One thing to improve your credit score is to maintain your credit report. Make sure all the minimum payments of your credit getting paid on time for at least last 12 months. If you are planning to buy new home in the future, please don’t take new loans for it as because it will harm you credit score rating. You can continue your fist loans by adding up your amount of credit and set the monthly payment at affordable cost. This will boost your credit score in the future as long as you can maintain your monthly payment on time.

Husten's got a point. There are a lot of different mapping datums out there and it definitely matters which one you use. 200m error is easy in Australia if one set of coords is in WGS84 and the other is AGD66, that's without any precision/rounding errors or simple human error transposing digital readouts to paper and then back to digital data which will compound things further. Maybe I looked in the wrong place but I couldn't find a reported datum for the positions data in the metadata. That' s a bit like recording a number without specifying the units used.
